The Honeymoon.

What to say about the honeymoon. Wonderful.
Neither Jon nor I had been to Hawaii and it really is everything that everyone says, beautiful, relaxing, tranquil, paradise. We went to Mauii and stayed in Kaanapali Beach. The first picture is a shot from the balcony. The place we stayed at was so nice, it was a condo with a kitchen, living room, king size bed and a huge bathroom. Our stay consisted of going to the beach, a Luau, parasailing and relaxing. It was fabulous. It was so fun being together the entire time with no interuptions or talking about planning the wedding.

Watching the sunset. Magical.

We would love to go again!!

The week before signing

Buying your first house is a HUGE deal, so is planning a wedding. Doing those two things at the same time is CRAZINESS:) Here are a few pics we took while inspecting all the house before we bought it. We have been very pleased with the builder and their work, they really did a good job.

The day of signing, Jon was at work and we met at the title company. We were both so happy and exhausted at the same time. Jon's dear friend Rich was our realitor and we were so thankful for his help and support. We got the home that we love, after signing what seemed like a billion documents.

Our new journey together.

Bridal Shower in Provo

Awesome pics and my thoughts to follow....

I'm back, I promise. I can't believe I have now been MARRIED for over a month, it's mind boggeling. Since I blogged last so much has happened but I really haven't had a spare minute to sit and reflect. I'm going back through my pictures and loving remembering all of the special memories. These are my reflections on the Bridal shower that Lisa, Emily and Lindsey through me. The three put so much effort into and made me feel so special!! They are true friends who stick through the thick and thin and I love them dearly.

I believe in a quote by Oprah, "Love is in the details". This shower was all about the details. Let's start with the amazing food. They made chicken shishkabobs, rice, a yummy sald, fruit and dip and cupcakes. All of my favorite things. It was fabulous. The decorations were so adorable too and then very fun games including me answering questions that Jon had already answered. It was all so perfect. And even more special because my mom and Heidi were able to be there. I felt very loved. Thanks ladies, you are the best!!
