Spring time, really?

I woke up this morning, looked out my wind and saw this:

And this was my scowl to the snow.
So I decided to wear black to commemorate the ugly weather.

Important People Sightings

During Easter weekend I saw four "famous" people and I thought it was pretty cool. On Friday I went with my friend Laura Thompson to a Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert which was really amazing. After the concert, while we were waiting for a friend I saw a man that looked like Elder Richard G. Scott. I recognized his face and thought if that's not him it's got to be his brother, sure enough it was him. He seemed shorter than I imagined. I was within arm distance of him. Pretty cool! Than on Sunday I went to a ward in Bountilful, Utah to be with Alisa Harrison and her family. Elder Nelson and Sister Mary Ellen Smoot (former General Relief Society President) were the speakers and Sheri Dew was sitting on the front row. I have to say, I have never had a weekend that I have seen so many "famous" people within the church. It was pretty fun.
After church, we went to Alisa's parents house and had an amazing feast. Alisa and I helped prepare a Christianson family tradition..... edible bunnies. They were made out of pear halves (bunny body), green jello (easter grass), cloves (eyes), cheese (ears) and marshmellow (nose). It was fun taking part in their traditions.

Utah State MFT Interview

It was so fun shopping for a business suit, I had never done that before.
I found the perfect one at Ann Taylor. I felt very classy and professional.

After the interview I stopped at the Aggie Creamery to determine who had the best ice cream BYU or USU. Both are very creamy and tasty but I believe BYU still has my heart.

I stayed about 40 minutes away with the grandparents of a friend and the drive through Sardine canyon was really pretty the morning of my interview.

The interview was for the Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Program.
It went really well and I felt it an honor to be there.

Fun Times in Sundance

It was a winter wonderland, granted, this was a couple of weekends ago and I'm a little behind. My friend was playing with his band at a cabin up in Sundance. We parked my car at the resort and then rode in the back of a truck up to the cabin. It was a frigid ride but the cabin was cool and Maggie greatly enjoyed the foosball table. If you can believe, she got a small case of tennis elbow from her intense playing. Impressive!! We enjoyed a couple of songs until we found out that my car was going to get towed where it parked. Tyler kindly drove back down in the back of the truck again to find out there were no definites to where we could park. We ended up having to leave early but it was a really fun night and a great foto opp. The scenery was awesome. And in the end Tyler only lost two fingers to frost bite from his heroic act (just the pinky fingers). What a guy:)
